ABOUT US

Optimize Your Health

From enhanced mentality and liveliness to heightened energy levels, HydroInfusion has a variety of curated, intravenous infusion blends to help you achieve your wellness goals in a convenient, stress-free way. Intravenous infusion maximizes absorption as it bypasses the gastrointestinal tract allowing the infusion to go straight into the bloodstream — avoiding unnecessary breakdown and loss of essential vitamins and minerals along the way. Results can be felt in as little as 30 minutes after the infusion! Whether you’re seeking a hangover cure or improved recovery from exercise/illness or enhancing physical performance, we strive to create a partnership with you for an ongoing wellness plan.

How Do I Prepare for My Infusion?

Eat a well-balanced meal 2-3 hours prior to your infusion to prevent dizziness/light- headedness.  Also ensure you are well hydrated for successful venous puncture.

We Come to You!

HydroInfusion is a concierge service, meaning we come to you! Our care team brings all the necessary equipment and supplies and performs the infusion in a comfortable location in your home or office.  Infusions typically take between 30-45 minutes, leaving you feeling invigorated, refreshed and able to pick up right where you left off without the need to travel to and from an appointment!

Getting Started

At HydroInfusion, our experienced nurses and practitioner professionals take great care to ensure your safety, comfort and relaxation during your infusion. The first step is to schedule an appointment where we will preform an initial assessment consultation, review your medical history and  devise a health strategy tailored for you.

  • How do IV drips work?
Intravenous (IV) fluid drips deliver a saline solution through a small catheter and tubing directly into the bloodstream. This solution includes our curated vitamin supplements that are tailored to the individual patient. During therapy, the nurse inserts an IV line which is attached to a bag of saline solution. The bag is then hung above the patient’s head. IV therapy bags are designed to let gravity, as opposed to a syringe or other forced technique, carry fluid into the veins over time. The duration of a single treatment varies from person to person, but typically lasts 30 – 45 minutes. The exceptions to this timeframe are our specialty add-ons which are administered after the initial infusion and can take an additional 30 minutes for completion.
  • What are the benefits of IV infusion therapy vs taking traditional supplements?
IV drip therapy is one of the most effective ways to deliver nutrients, vitamins, and fluids to your body, and is more efficient than oral supplementation. This technique bypasses your digestive system and is administered directly into your bloodstream. Your body is able to absorb the maximum amount of nutrients and fluids since nothing is lost as a result of the digestive process. In addition, vitamins and nutrients become immediately available to your cells for use for fast results.
  • Is it safe?
Yes, vitamin IV therapy is very safe. We only use nutrients from FDA-regulated 503a and 503b compounding pharmacies and source all of our equipment from reputable vendors. Our protocols have been developed by our medical board to provide the safest and most effective care possible. Our staff is comprised of licensed and credentialed Nurse Practitioners with extensive experience and training in administering IV drips and providing advanced medical care. Furthermore, each provider is supervised by our Medical Director, who is a MD.
  • Who should receive IV drip therapy?
Nearly anyone! From students, families, business professionals to athletes, many people can benefit from IV drip therapy. IV drip therapy can help improve overall health and wellbeing, boost energy levels, recover from illnesses more quickly, and address a variety of specific health targets and goals. You are always welcome to call us if you are unsure if IV therapy is right for you. We’ll be happy to answer any questions you may have about our services.
  • Why are vitamins and antioxidants so important?
Our bodies need a consistent amount of vitamins and minerals to promote homeostasis and optimal health. Vitamin deficiencies can contribute to a variety of acute and long-term conditions. Antioxidants are an essential part of maintaining a healthy immune system, detoxifying your body and removing free radicals that can contribute to cellular damage. Antioxidants also play a role in energy production and can also aid in longevity and add protection to organs and overall immune health.
  • Do I need to book an appointment?
Yes, appointments are mandatory. It is recommended that you try and book infusions at least two hours in advance.
  • Do the infusions hurt?
Our staff of registered nurses are highly skilled in IV starts and will make you as comfortable as possible. The site may be sore for a minute or two, but the drip should not cause any pain or discomfort. If you experience any aches or pains during the drip, please notify the nursing staff. You may have slight bruising at the site afterwards, but any other pains that may arise, please call us and our nursing staff will answer any questions.
  • Do I have to book a consultation first?
No, consults are not required to book an IV, shot, or lab draw. However, consults with our provider can be done via televisit before your first infusion visit to create a wellness plan tailored to your needs. If you have signed up for custom infusions, we will call to you schedule a brief consultation to go over your lab testing results, custom therapies, and recommended schedules.
  • Do you accept insurance?
Unfortunately, insurance is not accepted. The field of preventative medicine is evolving, and we are hoping to find solutions to allow for insurance billing in the future. However, insurance may be used for some lab tests, including Vitamin B12 and Vitamin D tests.
  • Who administers the injections and infusions?
Our nursing staff is composed entirely of registered nurses trained and skilled in IV therapy. They work under our Medical Director and under guidelines and protocols developed and approved by our medical board.
  • How do I book an appointment?
You can book any IV drip, including all Vitamin Infusions, High Dose Vitamin C infusions, NAD Therapy infusions, and Glutathione Infusions, and any Vitamin Shot online through our booking service, or by calling us during operating hours.
  • How long until I see results?
This will depend on a number of factors, including your goals, your current symptoms, your health, and your treatment of choice. Hangovers may find instant relief, whereas athletes may notice during their next session or improvements over the course of their training. Custom programs and skin therapies may take longer depending on levels of deficiencies, severity of symptoms, and other genetic factors.
  • Are there any in-take forms or questionnaires I need to fill out before my visit?
You will be asked to fill out a brief health questionnaire, our liability waiver, and our terms & conditions when you sign up for an account online using our booking portal. If you call us, we will take your information and send you the forms electronically to fill out prior to arrival. Please complete these forms before your appointment.
  • How long will it take?
Most infusions are completed within 30-60 minutes. Shots only take a few minutes.
  • What areas of San Diego County do you visit for at-home appointments?
We service all areas of San Diego County from Oceanside to Imperial Beach to the inland and mountain regions as well.
  • Do you provide IV services for groups/events?
